I thought never in my life time would I see the country in the shape as it is in now.
I remember Mother and Dad telling us how hard it was during their early teenage years during the depression.
Mom stated that as her Father was gone alot trying to obtain jobs to feed the family.
She remembers eating creamed carrots for dinner for a week. Grandma would say be thankful for those carrots. How they prayed that things would get better. One day Moms Uncle came over with a big basket of friut ,potatoes and more veggies and a Rabbit. This Rabbit became the pet of the family.
I everyday in the news I read of people loosing their jobs and homes are foreclosed. I feel the sorrow for these people, I know what its like to loose your home.
Times are harder and people are not as kind as they were back when.
This is sad because the only way we can over come this hardship is if we are kinder and help each other out.
I am afraid things will get worse before they get better.
Mother Tresea once said
The reason we do not have peace is because we have forgotten we are connected to each other.
I truly believe this..
I believe in the power of prayer , but it will take a united effort with all to have things turn around.
